NIKON 5700 ADVISORY/RECALL?
My Nikon Coolpix 5700 has a diplay that is completely black, and I can't see through the viewfinder, because it is also black. The screen also gets funny buzzing lines on it when pointed towards light. I heard that Nikon Canada and Nikon USA issued an advisory about this product, because many of the coolpix 5700's were having this problem, and that they would fix it free of charge if I sent it in. If I bought it in the USA, but I live in Canada, can I still send it to Nikon Canada, and they will do the repairs?

I believe you would have to take it to Nikon USA. The product is registered under USA, so all the information will probably not be available in Canada.
