How much will it cost to get the screen of my digital camera fixed?
The LCD screen of my digital camera broke while it was in my purse, I was at a party, so I'm guessing someone dropped my bag or something.
My Camera is a Nikon L15.
Help me, Please and Thank you <333.
Oh and where would be a good place to take it to be fixed?
i work retail and sell lots of cameras. every time this issue comes up both our repair guys and nikon rep will say to buy a new camera. to ship them off and fix it will cost a pretty penny, 200 or so from what i've seen because they usually charge a flat rate for most fixes, no matter what it is.
unless you have an Extended Warranty from some store that covers hard abuse on the camera. and you can pick up a nikon L20 or L19 for under 130 bucks easily. both are AA powered, 10 and 8 mp respectively, 3.6x optical zoom with big lcd displays, up to 3 inches.
