Insignia 32" LCD television with lines in the screen. I have the warranty but they will not cover it. ?
This is from watching television from an antenna and the programs being broadcast in 4:3 ratio rather than 16:9. We have tried switching the aspect ratio but it doesn't do anything. What else can I do? We bought the Extended Warranty but they will not cover it. Any other suggestions of what this might be? There are dark lines, one on both sides about 2 inches in. Thanks.
I would ask for a refund of my Warranty money (good luck). I did read an article at one time that "Insignia" and a couple other cheap brands did not honor thier warranties. That basically, they were a throw away set.
I would never try to save a dollar by buying an off brand like Insignia, Element, Haier, etc.
