What is a great video camera to use at a concert?
A camera that shoots videos with good quality would be nice. Something that picks up great sound and zooms in nicely. And something that is reasonably priced. Thanks.
One that you don't mind getting confiscated in case you are not supposed to take video during the concert... and one that has manual audio control so the loud audio does not overwhelm the camcorder's auto-mic-gain circuit resulting in muddy audio - or clipping (sounds like static) that cannot be fixed whe you edit... like a Canon HV30... for less $ there are some Sony camcorders that have a very basic "Normal" or "Low" (for high audio levels) setting in the "MicRefLevel" menu selection - you can check the camcorder manuals for this capability.
